Hi, I’m Marina a UX/UI designer based in Silicon Valley. I’m passionate about designing better experiences for users and enjoy finding creative solutions to complex problems.
Design has always been part of my life. From designing creative games as a kid to becoming an architect and now transitioning to UX design.
Choosing to become an Architecture was a natural thing for me. As a daughter of an engineer, I looked for a way to combine my passion for art and design with my love for logic and complex problem-solving. Architecture allowed me to integrate different requirements, materials, compositions, and rules into a new creation.
After working as an architect for more than 13 years Covid hit and with that the world changed, and me too. At that same time, a startup company asked me to use my design skill and help them develop their new idea. Working on their product opened me to the new world of UX/UI design, and the more I worked the more I fell in love with this profession and wanted to learn more.
Starting my new career as a UX/UI designer I feel prepared and ready for the challenge. With my experience as an architect, extensive knowledge of graphic design, and passion for providing a better user experience and solving big problems, I am excited to start this new journey.
